Clitheroe & District Amateur Swimming Club
Swimmers' Charter
- All swimmers should have respect for:-
- Each other
- The coaches & officials
- Other teams
- Property & equipment
- When asked to do something swimmers should co-operate and complete the task with no fuss or argument.
- Each member of the club is there to swim and therefore those who misbehave or who do not co-operate will be asked to leave. If asked to leave, the swimmer may get changed but must return to poolside until their parent or guardian collects them.
- It is fine to have a social gathering before swimming but all swimmers must be on poolside at the correct time ready to swim. It is not fair to the coaches if they are not.
- At galas and Club Championships, all rubbish must be picked up and put in the bin.
- At galas and Club Championships, all swimmers must do as the coaches and marshals tell them to. They must not go and sit with their parents.
- At a training session, the swim that has been set must be properly completed with no messing about.
- All swimmers should check the notice board on a weekly basis. If there is a gala list they should indicate if they are available at least seven days before the gala.
- If selected for a Club swimming team, swimmers are expected to swim. Swimmers who decline to swim, without good reason, may have their membership withdrawn.
- All club rules must be adhered to
